Welcome to my gallery which showcases my images.
Photographically my main interest is the natural world, both wildlife and landscape. I have been taking photographs since I was given a Kodak Instamatic as a child. As a teenager my first ‘proper’ camera was a Praktica and then I graduated to Pentax SLRs, which I used for 20 years.
Recently I purchased my first Nikon, an F100. This new camera rekindled my interest in photography. I have since used a number of Nikon bodies and lenses. My primary camera is digital – a Nikon D2x, for film I use the lovely F6.
I work for Natural England doing nature conservation work in North Kent where I look after a number of Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs). When I can escape from my desk I get to visit some wonderful wildlife sites in the county. Unfortunately I’m not paid to take wildlife pictures so my photography is done in my spare time.
I hope you like my images.
